Introduction

The instrument uses the magnetic field generated by the Helmholtz coil to control the electron motion in the Lorentz force tube to determine the electron specific charge. It consists of Lorentz force tube (built-in scale), Helmholtz coil, power supply and measuring meter head, etc. The whole is installed in a wooden dark box, which is convenient for observation, measurement and management.

1、Observation of deflection of electron beam under the action of electric field;

2、Observation of the law of motion of moving charge in the magnetic field under the action of Lorentz force;

3、Determination of specific charge of electron.
