Description

It is an important experiment in the physics experiment teaching programme in colleges to measure the magnetic field distribution in the galvanical solenoid by using Hall unit. Solenoid magnetic field measurement apparatus adopts the advanced integrated linear Hall unit to measure the weak magnetic field within 0-67 mT range of galvanical solenoid, so as to solve the low sensitivity of Hall unit, residual voltage interference, output instability caused by the temperature rise of solenoid and other deficiencies, which can accurately measure the magnetic field distribution of galvanical solenoid, understand and grasp the principle and method of measuring magnetic field by integrated linear Hall elements and learn the method of measuring sensitivity of Hall unit. Considering the long-lived requirement of teaching experiment apparatus, the power supply and sensor of this apparatus also have protective device.

1. Measure the sensitivity of a Hall sensor

2. Verify the output voltage of a Hall sensor proportional to the magnetic field intensity inside the solenoid

3. Acquire the relationship between the magnetic field intensity and position inside the solenoid

4. Measure the magnetic field intensity on edges

5. Apply compensation principle in magnetic field measurement

6. Measure the horizontal component of the geomagnetic field (optional)
